Revit 2012 : License unavailable. A license is required to run Autodesk Revit Structure 2012 on this computer.
Revit 2011 : ditto
AutoCAD 2013 : The security system (softlock license manager) is not functioning or is improperly installed. (then crashes with error reporting)
AutoCAD 2012 : The security system (softlock license manager) is not functioning or is improperly installed. (then crashes without error reporting)
Revit 2013 : Loads to main start screen (menus, recent files, etc), crashes to desktop, no error box.
To fix these and similar problems, go to Start, and in the search box, enter "Services" and start the Services utility. Find Flexnet on the list, and those listing will probably be Stopped or Disabled. Start the Flexnet services manually, (and set them to Automatic for next reboot?).
