Templates

1. Every Revit Structure project begins with a template that should be accessible to all users on the network.
2. Changes made to families while working on a specific project need to be saved back to the template.
   


3. Configure Revit to use your specific company template.


4. Open a new file.


5. Open the latest structure rvt project that has the newest standard.


6. From the "new project", select "Transfer Project Standards" from the File menu option.


7. Choose items to copy from the other open structure project.


8. Save the "new project" back over the original template file.
