View Titles

Supplied view titles are extremely ugly. Try this:
  1. In the Project Browser go to Families, Annotations, View Title. Right click on "View Title" category (the one on top), and hit "Edit". Select "Yes" when asked "Open Title View for Editing?"
  2. Highlight the scale, and change the Element Properties.
  3. Select Edit / New.
  4. Select Duplicate.
  5. Name the new Label something appropriate: I'm calling it "Scale Label". Click OK.
  6. Change the "Text Size" to 7/64". Hit OK twice.
  7. Select "View Name" and edit "Element Properties".
  8. Select Edit / New.
  9. Change the "Text Size" to 3/16". Hit Ok twice.
  10. Highlight one of the circle arcs, click on the radial dimension and modify that so the larger font will fit within, I'm changing mine to 3/16". Both arcs should change. How? I don't know.
  11. How to change the start of the line? The only thing I can think of for right now is to nudge the entire circle and number over so that the line does not begin inside the circle.
  12. Load the new family back in to the project, and check override button so that all existing View Titles will change also.
