Showing Joist Extensions on Framing Plans

1. Highlight a K Joist, select "Edit Family"
2. Highlight the top chord of the joist, and enter the properties dialogue.
3. Select "Edit" in the Visibility/Graphics Overrides box.
4. Select the "Course" check box in the Detail Levels section.
5. OK until all boxes are closed.
   
6. Load the family into the project and optionally save the family back to the revit library.

*edit* this does not work very well as it only shows the 3d top chord model in all course plans, not the course representation.

Structural Framing Projection?
