Creating a Wall Schedule

  1. View -> New -> Schedule
  2. Under Category, choose "Walls", select OK.
  3. From Available Fields, highlight "Type Mark" and select the Add button.
  4. Add Parameter for each additional column needed in the schedule that does not already have a field (i.e. reinforcing).
  5. Give each parameter the same name of each column heading.
  6. Discipline and Type will most likely stay as Common and Text.
  7. Choose Group parameter is optional.
  8. Select the "Type" radio button, if each Type of wall will NOT change parameters (you will only have a single row in the schedule for each type of wall you want to schedule).
  9. In the Filter tab, filter by Type Mark "is greater than" " " (blank).
  10. Under the Sorting/Grouping tab, Sort by Type Mark and check the "Itemize every instance" box.
  11. Select OK, the project window should now show the Wall Schedule.
  12. In the necessary views where the walls are to be tagged, load the wall tag from the Architectural annotations directory and tag the walls. (Structural directory does not have a wall tag).
  13. Edit each wall type to have a Type Mark, and edit the new parameters for each wall type as necessary, either in the wall properties or directly on the schedule.
  14. Drag the Wall Schedule from the Project Browser window on to a sheet to place it.
