Weekend Worksharing

Revit local files should be saved back to central every day before you leave work. This should relinquish any worksets you have ownership of so that other employees can work on them once you are gone.

If you have work that will be done outside the office at night or on weekends:

Before taking home a laptop with your local file, check out (take ownership of) the worksets you have markups for. This is especially important for the user defined worksets. You will also need ownership of the Sheet Views and Sheets you plan to work on.

From the Collaboration Ribbon, Select Worksets, Check the appropriate boxes then click "Editable" at the right. Your username will appear as the owner on the selected workset. Make sure you select any drafting views or component families you might edit.

Save your file locally, but DO NOT Synchronize to Central.
